This passion culminated in her receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts from Helwan University in 2010, where she majored in the intricate craft of Glass Art.

However, Aphrodite’s pursuit of knowledge and mastery didn’t end there. Driven by an insatiable thirst for excellence, she embarked on a journey of continuous growth and learning. In 2017, she proudly earned her Master’s degree in the Techniques of Glass Blowing, solidifying her expertise and command over this delicate and ancient art form.

Her quest for mastery took her beyond borders, as she traversed the globe to study at prestigious Glass Art schools in Germany, Italy, and the USA. Among the revered institutions she attended were the Corning Museum of Glass and the illustrious Pilchuck Glass School, where she absorbed the wisdom and techniques of the world’s finest glass artisans.

With a profound appreciation for Egypt’s rich artistic legacy, Aphrodite aspired to become the torchbearer for glass blowing in her homeland. Fuelled by the captivating tapestry of ancient Egyptian history and its indelible influence on the world of art and glass, she set out to revive and reintroduce the exquisite artistry of glass blowing to Egypt. Thus, our company was born—a testament to her relentless commitment to breathe new life into this age-old craft.
